The Toronto Heliconian Club consists of five sections: Art, Dance, Drama, Humanities, Literature and Music.
Each section has its own activities but in addition to these, there are Club events to which all Club members are invited. These include Member-of-the-Day luncheons every other month at which a Club member speaks about her life, and Club Night on alternate months when an invited guest speaks on a subject of interest. In addition, there is the popular Literary Lecture Series for Club members and the general public. There are also Sunday afternoon concerts by the Club’s talented musicians, as well as art exhibitions and demonstrations.
As the Club is the sum of all of its parts—art shows, concerts, luncheons, dinners, literary evenings—to get the most out of belonging to it, members are encouraged to take in as many of these events as possible.
